lexiCan offers the possibility to insert the current date and optionally also the respective time at any position in an article. Using the full-text search, content can also be found according to the date of its entry.
Take the item in question into editing. Then click on the clock symbol in the "Insert" menu bar.
Alternatively, you can use the key combination Shift-Alt+D.
To define the date/time format, open the pull-down menu in the same place and click on "Insert with selection".
Several date and time formats are available in the dialogue window under "Available formats". The list can be adapted according to your language area. You can define your selection for further insertions at the bottom left via "Set as default".
