lexiCan allows the export of an entire project or parts of it into a folder structure corresponding to the outline, including the article contents in file form and the file attachments, provided these have been inserted as copies. This function can be particularly advantageous in the case of system migrations.
Click on "Export" in the main menu and choose then "Folder".
In the right-hand window area, first define the desired storage location as well as the file format to be used for the item files, e.g.
Under "Options", determine whether you want to export the entire project or only parts of it ("Selection"). You can also determine whether the files assigned to an article should also be exported and copied to the corresponding folder.
Then click on "Start export" to start the process.
If you like to export just parts of the project ("Selection"), a selection window will open after starting the export, in which you can choose between the index view and the outline view (translation outstanding), e.g.
With the help of the context menu via the right mouse button, you can select entire outlines from once (translation outstanding), e.g.
After the data export is completed, the storage location selected at the beginning is automatically displayed.
